Amongst the entries already received include this very rare Dodge,
pictured here being driven by owner Jim Musty on the Welsh hill
climb, finishing first. Terrific to see these classic being
used as they were intended

Duncan Waller, owner of the Cobra above wrote:
I took part in the
run for the first time last year in a Ferrari 328 GTS belonging to a
friend. Ron Middleton was convinced that it would not make it all
the way, but it did. My youngest son and I had a great day.
I had always
wanted to take part in the Manchester to Blackpool Car Run because
as a child I remember my sister and myself sitting on the top of
gateposts of the house we lived in on Clifton Drive in St Annes. We
used to perch ourselves one on each side of the driveway waiting for
the old cars to come by. The gatepost tops were a great vantage
point, being about 7ft high we could see over the people who were
stood on the edge of the pavement and we could wave at all the
passengers in the cars when they went past. It was a real spectacle.
Now 40 years on I
am taking part in an event which I hope people enjoy watching and
appreciating the vehicles as they go past.
Look forward to
seeing you,

Even if you can not make the run, would you like to display your
classic?
